Concerts and festivals

Through the event

  1. Tickets and preparation

QR tickets go out and the stage programme and site map are published. The venue map and scenes for the light show are prepared, and attendees link their seat.

  2. Show time

QR codes are scanned at the gate. During the show the lighting desk or the panel changes scenes and each phone lights up by seat. Sponsor cards appear next to the programme.

  3. Photos and reports

Attendees find themselves in the photos uploaded by the photographers. You download entry and sponsor reports from the panel.

Frequently asked questions

How does the crowd light show work?

Every phone receives the same small state packet and works out its colour from its own seat, so the stands become a giant screen. The packet arrives over the internet (socket) or offline, through BLE broadcast from transmitters fed by Ethernet and PoE. The price depends on the venue, the audience size and the transmitter hardware, so it is set by quote.

Does the light show work if the venue's internet is weak?

In BLE mode phones don't need the internet during the show: the show package is downloaded beforehand and the state comes from the transmitters. This requires the mobile app; attendees joining from a browser use socket mode only, with an internet connection.

How do attendees find their photos?

They read the privacy notice, give explicit consent, take a selfie with the camera and see only the photos matched to them. The selfie is not stored, face data never leaves the event and attendees can delete their face data at any time.
